Quote Surveyor

Due to our rapid growth, we are currently looking to recruit an additional part time Quote Surveyor for one, two or three days per week to visit our prospective customers listed and period homes, assess their current heating and insulation provision and identify which of our unique range of solutions would provide optimal energy savings and improve the comfort levels of the property and take measurements and send all information collected back to our head office where our customer team will prepare a survey report and quotation to send to the customer.

Some customer facing experience is essential as well as experience of conducting home surveys. An understanding of the construction of older properties, a personable approach, and an interest in the environment will be an advantage. You will also need to be well organised , with a full, clean driving licence and be happy to travel throughout the South of England during the working week.

With a degree of flexibility this role may suit someone with other employment / a portfolio career.

Training in our systems and company approach will be provided by our in-house surveyor team.

The role offers flexible work days, expenses and a car will be provided for working days, or an allowance for use of own vehicle.

Salary will include a day rate plus results related bonus to provide an OTE of between £28,000 and £32,000 pro rata, depending on experience.

Finance Officer

Mitchell & Dickinson is a rapidly growing eco business which specialises in insulation solutions for period and listed properties throughout the South of England.

We seek a part time Management Accountant working up to 2 days per week either in 4 half days or 2 whole days or other combination by agreement in the first year and increasing over the next year to 4 days as the business grows.

As a minimum we seek AAT Level 4 or ICB Level 4 qualifications and the ideal candidate will have accounting experience in a range of commercial enterprises.

Reporting to the Business Director you will be responsible for all aspects of day to day accounting, monthly payroll and financial reporting, as well as cash flow forecasting and monitoring, and will play a key role in budget setting and budget variance analysis. The role could grow to a Board level role over the next two years and may incorporate IT and systems and HR administration depending on interest in those aspects.

We have created a unique and award-winning insulation system that is leading the field, and we need excellent sales people to help us spread  the word. Based in North Devon, with opportunities to work across the South West.

Inside Sales Executives

Essential qualifications: Degree or equivalent, Maths and English to GCSE grade B or above

Essential experience: Active sales experience (not just customer service). Experience of working in a busy sales office with both phone and customer-facing sales experience.

Working Hours: Weekdays 9 – 5

Job summary:

Managing your own pipeline of customers dealing with every stage of the sales process from initial enquiry through to invoicing when the job is completed.

Building excellent customer relationships throughout the sales process.

Proactively managing the customer journey through to an order working with our external sales surveyors  and operations team to ensure the customer has all information they need at every stage and experiences excellent customer service.

Manage all communications with customers from telephone enquiry and qualification of prospects to setting survey appointments, arranging work appointments and then checking job progress/dealing with any customer issues during the job, and post job customer service call and invoicing.
