This was the second job that we've had M&D do for us and, as with the last job, the experience throughout was of the highest quality: clear communication about the works (including specific clarification about how to resolve an issue with overly wet woodwork); polite, reliable and friendly employees; clean and tidy job; and of course, excellent results.
We have just returned from Italy and are thrilled with our new insulating windows. They are very discreet and smart and will clearly provide excellent insulation. The front door also is quite transformed and fits much more snugly into its frame.
I would like to commend the workers, who installed my internal glazing and refurbished my sash windows, for their professionalism and high standard of workmanship. They worked hard and were friendly and polite throughout their stay. All contact with the company was received in a friendly and professional manner. I would highly recommend this company to other potential customers.
All the personnel I dealt with were courteous, patient and utterly professional. The product is barely visible in situ, which is exactly what I wanted, and I am already benefitting from a lack of draughts. I now feel much more confident about facing the winter here.
The product itself is a conservationist's dream - you would hardly notice it once installed. Very impressive in that sense and truly meets the standard of "minimalist intervention". In fact, we sought and achieved listed building consent even though there is a strong argument that the product is "temporary" in nature. It was nice to get the Local Authority's formal approval though.
Mitchell & Dickinson themselves are professional and courteous. Everything was well planned and programmed in advance and, as such, the job progressed accordingly. Their quotation was very transparent and well costed so there was no arguments over what was and was not done as the job progressed.
Mitchell & Dickinson have just completed some work at one of our tenancies. This was in a Grade II* listed building. We were very impressed by the quality of their work and the courtesy and consideration of their skilled craftsmen. We have recommend them to our architect as we start planning a development on our Grade 1 eleventh century building. The trustees and tenants were delighted with the care and skill shown.
Mitchell & Dickinson recently assisted with installing secondary glazing, draught proofing and loft insulation at our Grade II listed home. I chose Mitchell & Dickinson on the basis that they had expertise with listed buildings and demonstrated an environmental and sustainability consideration with their products. I have been impressed with the work carried out and immediately have had to turn our heating down due to the improved heat retention. Brett and his team were polite and tidy and kept me updated with progress when required. I especially appreciate the debrief on how to service the secondary glazing going forward - this shows a degree of customer service which is easily overlooked. The team went out of their way to attend the property (which was outside their immediate vicinity) and all members of staff were consistently courteous and helpful. I strongly recommend Mitchell & Dickinson if you want top of the range products and would definitely use them again.
We have nothing but praise for the workmanship and courtesy of the Mitchell and Dickinson team. What is more, we are delighted with our secondary glazing on the large sash windows of our listed mill house in the New Forest National Park, and we cannot recommend the company highly enough. Worth every penny!
We looked everywhere for a solution and couldn't find anything that looked good until we found CosyGlazing, and some of the quotes we had were vastly expensive. But what you have done is better than I expected, with good soundproofing too – it's amazing. I think it’s a fantastic job. Much better than I thought it was going to look, I must admit.
The work carried out by the team was superb and we are really pleased with the standard of fit and finish. Our aim will be to have the remaining windows completed around Easter time.
