Our heritage-friendly insulation work has been featured in Listed Heritage magazine, which explored how sensitive retrofitting can transform the comfort and efficiency of listed homes without compromising their character
Listed Heritage magazine highlights how we supported Mark and Sarah Ansell in improving the thermal performance of their mid-18th-century Georgian home in North Devon.
The feature follows the couple’s journey from battling severe draughts and soaring energy costs to achieving warmth and efficiency through Mitchell & Dickinson’s subtle, reversible improvements. These included including sash window restoration, discreet secondary glazing and careful draught proofing. Their experience demonstrates how thoughtful, regulation-compliant interventions can dramatically reduce heat loss and carbon emissions while preserving every historical detail.
