Tom has over 18 years’ experience in design and management of complex bespoke projects. He has designed, built and installed for organisations such as National Science Museum, Manchester Art Gallery, Ted Baker Ltd, The National Trust and Cornwall Council as well as for many hundreds of individual owners of listed and period properties throughout the south of England. He joined Mitchell & Dickinson in 2016 as a Project Manager and rose quickly to undertake surveys, then installation design and technical surveying.
He took on management of the company’s most pioneering and complex projects before taking the reins as Managing Director in 2019. His excellent technical knowledge and practical, cool-headed approach to even the toughest challenge result in first-class environmentally conscious, effective and elegant solutions for our clients’ listed and period homes as well as for his own: he completed a deep retrofit and renovation of his beautiful village farm-worker’s cottage by the sea where he lives with his wife, two boys and their dog.
