We had 11 sash windows restored and secondary glazed in a 19th Century townhouse. It was a big investment, but the team worked hard for three weeks on removing, refurbishing and refitting all the windows, with high standards and good attention to detail. The project manager was excellent and made sure (without being asked) that a few bits of less polished work by trainees were brought up to standard. The team were very considerate of sharing the space in the house and very careful of other furnishings etc. The heating now comes on noticeably less, so we’re hopeful of lower energy bills. We don’t have to wedge beer mats in the frames to stop them rattling, and there is less noise from the busy road outside
