Following a career in environmental publishing, Dan’s passion for sustainability was ignited when he completed a deep retrofit of his Cotswold stone home. This experience fueled his interest in energy efficiency and renewable solutions, particularly in heritage buildings. In 2020, Dan joined Mitchell & Dickinson following his Master’s in Sustainability from the Centre for Alternative Technology. He now conducts over 200 retrofit surveys annually on period and listed buildings and has designed thermal efficiency solutions for thousands of heritage windows. As Carbon Lead, Dan calculates and monitors the CO2e emissions impact of our insulation projects.
